For Clients: Standard tier pays a 4.5% fee per invoice paid through Bookr. Studio tier (\$49/mo) removes all platform fees.
Note: Fees only apply to payments processed through Bookr's platform. If you arrange payment outside of Bookr, no platform fees apply.
Upwork charges freelancers 10–20% in platform fees. Bookr charges only 2% on the Starter tier, or 0% on Pro. That means you keep significantly more of your earnings. Plus, Bookr is built specifically for VFX and Motion professionals, with tools designed for our industry.
Freelancers: Upgrade to Pro (\$19/mo) when you're earning around \$1,000/month through Bookr. At that point, the 2% fee would be \$20, so Pro saves you money immediately.
Clients: Upgrade to Studio (\$49/mo) when you're sending around \$1,100/month in invoices. The 4.5% fee would be around \$50, so Studio removes all fees for less.
We accept all major credit cards. Payments are processed securely through Stripe. Subscriptions can be paid monthly or annually (with savings).
Yes! You can upgrade or downgrade at any time. If you upgrade mid-month, we'll prorate the cost. If you downgrade, you'll keep premium access until the end of your billing period.
Absolutely. Cancel your subscription at any time with no penalties or fees. You'll revert to the Starter or Standard tier and only pay the small per-transaction fee.
