Managing Holds

The Holds page (/holds) lists all requests from clients.

Hold Statuses

  • 1st Hold: You are the client's top choice.
  • 2nd/3rd Hold: You are a backup option.

Actions

  • Accept: Confirm you are available for the dates.
  • Decline: Reject the hold if you're unavailable.
  • Decline with Counter: If the dates or rates don't work, you can propose changes directly. The client will receive your counter-offer.
  • Challenge: If you are on a 2nd hold and want to book, you can "Challenge" the 1st hold. This forces the 1st hold client to commit or release you within 24 hours.

Negotiation Timeline

Each hold has a Negotiation Timeline that tracks all interactions:

  • When the hold was placed.
  • Any messages exchanged.
  • Status changes (e.g., promoted from 2nd to 1st hold).
  • Counter-offers and approvals.

Bookings

Once a hold is confirmed, it moves to the Bookings page (/bookings).

See all past, current, and upcoming projects.

Booking Details

Click any booking to see:

  • Project Info: Dates, total days, and project description.
  • Financials: Agreed rate, total fee, and invoice status.
  • Client Info: Contact details and company information.
  • Files: Access any shared project files.
